Wendy Cho, RN, MBA
Founder, Director of Patient Care Services
With over two decades of diverse clinical and executive experience, Wendy Cho, RN, MBA, is a seasoned healthcare leader dedicated to bridging the gap between high-level administration and compassionate bedside care. Her extensive clinical background spans more than 20 years across the ICU, home health, and as a surgical first assistant, providing her with a profound understanding of the patient journey. Transitioning into the business sector, Wendy founded a successful medical billing company and served as a Hospital Administrative Consultant, specializing in complex billing infrastructure. In 2021, inspired by the personal experience of her mother’s passing, she followed a calling to return to patient-centered service by founding Golden Time Hospice. Today, she leverages her unique blend of clinical expertise and business acumen to ensure that patients and families receive the highest standard of dignity and support at the end of life.

Dr. Steve Yi, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Steve Yi, MD, has served as Golden Time Hospice's Medical Director since 2025, bringing his expertise to guide compassionate patient care. His commitment to patient-centered care was immediately evident when our team witnessed him conducting a home visit for a patient receiving end-of-life care, inspiring us to seek his partnership. A dedicated physician, he also champions a healthy lifestyle for his patients, educating them on exercise, proper diet, and routine physicals. Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Yi maintains an active practice, caring for patients at Valencia Medical Care Urgent Care and through his private practice. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN, where he served as Chief Resident and received the Eldon Berglund Award for his dedication to patients and fellow residents. His excellence was further recognized when he was voted the "Ultimate Family Doctor" at the Annual Ultimate Medical Professionals from élite magazine many times over the past 10 years and 5 years in a row from 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.

Roilann De Guzman, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, CCRN-CMC-CSC
Director of Patient Care Services Designee
Roilann De Guzman, is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner and the Director of Patient Care Services Designee for Golden Time Hospice. With a deep commitment to holistic and compassionate patient care, he provides clinical and administrative oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, dignified hospice services in compliance with all regulations. Roilann leverages his extensive background in critical care, which includes specialization in complex symptom and pain management, to lead quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives. He plays a key role in the interdisciplinary team (IDT), fostering a culture of excellence and compassionate care while overseeing staff development and implementing individualized care plans focused on improving the quality of life for patients and their families.

Shani Cho, MArch, RA
Administrator
As a licensed architect with a Master of Architecture, Shani Cho, brings a unique precision and structural integrity to her role as the Administrator for Golden Time Hospice. Originally trained to design physical spaces, Shani pivoted her career during the pandemic, first serving as Office Manager before stepping into her current leadership position. Her architectural background translates into a meticulous, highly capable approach to healthcare administration, where she ensures that the complex operations of the hospice run efficiently. Beyond her technical expertise, Shani is deeply driven by a mission to provide a meaningful difference for families navigating their most difficult seasons. She finds her greatest fulfillment in creating a supportive, seamless environment where patients can find peace and families feel truly held.

Yolla Nazzal, LVN
Case Manager
With over 15 years of dedicated service in end-of-life care, Yolla Nazzal, LVN, brings a wealth of hands-on clinical experience and deep compassion to her role as Case Manager for Golden Time Hospice. Yolla’s career trajectory—beginning as a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) before becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)—gives her an intimate understanding of patient needs at every level of care. As Case Manager, she serves as the vital link between patients, providers, and families, meticulously coordinating daily clinical updates and ensuring seamless communication across the care team. Driven by her faith and a profound passion for hospice work, Yolla possesses a unique ability to help others navigate and accept life’s most difficult transitions. She is steadfast in her commitment to providing comfort, dignity, and unwavering support to both patients and their loved ones during their final journey together.

Lorraine Terranova
Chaplain
Lorraine Terranova has lived in Santa Clarita since 1985. As a Chaplain at Golden Time Hospice, she provides warm and loving care to patients and their families. She also serves as the bereavement coordinator to support families after their loss. Lorraine is the CEO and founder of the Widow’s Ministry, which she established in 2006. Drawing from 17 years of ministry work, she has authored two books. The Journey of Grieving is a collection of articles on grief and recovery. Prayers for the Grieving Heart offers short prayers to provide hope and comfort to those mourning a loved one.
